General information about  taxation in the UAE

Taxation in the UAE is nearly zero.
 
The employers’ and employees’ contributions are zero. There is no income tax or company taxes. VAT does not exist to date.
 
The only tax applicable to all companies is the one to be paid to the municipality of each emirate when the commercial licence is granted or renewed on a yearly basis. The tax consists in more 10% of the annual rent of the offices and warehouses.
 
Finally there are a lot of free zones in the UAE.
